Kristin - Owner

Hi my name is Kristin and I’m the owner of Lure Beauty Bar. I have been in the beauty industry for over 10 years and obtained my Beauty Therapy Diploma from Victorian University in 2010. I have travelled around Melbourne and gained invaluable experience and knowledge working in different salons and undertaking an array of beauty treatments to expand my scope and provide the highest possible quality of service to my clients. My dream has always been to own a salon of my own and I can finally say my dream has turned into a reality - opening this little gem Lure Beauty Bar!

Lure Beauty Bar is a small, intimate boutique salon located in the leafy beachside suburb of Parkdale. It’s a space where I want women to feel beautiful and empowered and leave feeling calm, rejuvenated and satisfied. 

I specialise in eye brow sculpting and design, using techniques to create the perfect brow shape to fit any face. Lash lifts are another one of my favourite treatments, i take pride in delivering amazing results and transforming faces to leave you feeling your most confident. My waxing style is extremely thorough and quick, making sure you feel very comfortable. Brazilian waxing is my specialty from years of experience and client feedback.

I feel so lucky to live and breathe my passion every day and I have each and every one of my loyal clients to thank for that. This wouldn’t have been possible without you!

Meet Kristy

Kristy is our manager and full time therapist at Lure Beauty Bar. She has 11 years experience in the industry and absolutely loves what she does!

Her bubbly personality is contagious and I can almost guarantee you will leave with a smile on your face, or at the very least feeling much better off than when you walked in.

Her favourite services include brow makeovers and brow lamination.  Her transformations speak for themselves! Lashes are another favourite, her aim is to give you lashes to suit your personal style. 

You can expect a very quick waxing service from Kristy, making your experience pain free and as enjoyable as possible .

Kristy is passionate about what she does, she loves building relationships with her clients and working with our close community of people.

Meet Janika 

Janika is our part time therapist who has been with Lure Beauty Bar for over 2 years now. She has 10 years experience under her belt and takes pride in making sure every clients needs are met!

Her caring nature shines through when you meet her and she always creates a relaxed environment to ensure you feel comfortable in every treatment.

Waxing is her favourite treatment. Whether it's body or face waxing she is extremely efficient and meticulous, ensuring you feel amazing after every visit.

Nails are another specialty of Janika's, helping clients choose the perfect colour to match their occasion and personality.

She also specialises in spray tans, giving you a streak free, natural, all over even tan every time.

Janika's love for the industry shows very clearly in her work and  she is extremely grateful for the friendships that have developed from her clientele along the way.
